INTERN ABBY
About the Initiative
Abby has been selected as our new intern! If you (Abby's relatives/friends) wish to order any copies of the books &/or workbooks noted below, 10% of your purchases will be donated to a charity chosen by Abby (United Hatzalah) - as long as you follow these two steps: (a) your purchase is made through this specific link while Abby is our intern, and (b) After you place your order, you will receive an automated receipt. You will also receive an email asking you to confirm your order was associated with a specific initiative. You just need to reply to that email and write "Abby" (or "United Hatzalah"). Scroll down to learn more about the books and workbooks.
About the Books and Workbooks
The Silhouette Man (190 pages) tells the story of a young adult determined to make a positive difference, his experiences growing up that shaped his subsequent efforts in education, volunteerism and philanthropy, and the senior (the grandmother) who mentors him along the way. The book is geared to adults. It was honored in Canada as a book that celebrates the wisdom of seniors. The First Thirty (96 pages) is the condensed version of the same story, geared to 5th-12th grade reading level (and adults who prefer shorter stories). A Place To Sit is its optional companion workbook. The Milkshake Man is the illustrated version of the story, geared to K-4th/5th grade reading level (and teens and adults who are kids at heart). One Lunch is its optional companion workbook. To read reviews of the books and workbooks, click here. To learn more about Greg, click here
The specific link to order copies for this initiative - click here - There is no maximum or minimum order size. It can be 1 copy or 100 copies. Either way, 10% of your purchase will benefit the charity Abby selected (as long as you follow the two steps noted above).
